Another fundamental principle of A Class in Wonders is the indisputable fact that the physical earth is definitely an illusion. It posits our physical experiences are unreliable indicators of fact and that true understanding can only be performed through a shift in consciousness. The Course distinguishes involving the “real life,” which is a state of peace and oneness beyond the material realm, and the “vanity earth,” indicated by anxiety, divorce, and conflict. Based on ACIM, our main function is to awaken from the dream of the ego world and return to the attention of our heavenly nature.
ACIM also presents the notion of the Sacred Spirit as a guide and teacher within the individual. That religious existence is observed as the source of enthusiasm and wisdom, supporting people produce a course in miracles that lead people closer to truth and away from illusion. The Program shows that through our willingness to hear the Sacred Spirit’s advice, we could access a deeper knowledge of our function and the path to healing.
The Book for Pupils in A Course in Miracles consists of 365 classes, one for each day of the year. These lessons are created to support students internalize the teachings and use them for their daily lives. They often contain meditative and contemplative workouts, affirmations, and insights on the methods shown in the text. The purpose of these daily classes would be to shift the student’s notion and attitude slowly, leading them towards a state of correct forgiveness, internal peace, and religious awakening.
The Handbook for Educators, the next part of ACIM, is directed at those who have embraced the principles of the Course and sense required to generally share them with others. It provides advice on the traits of a real instructor of God, emphasizing characteristics such as persistence, trust, and an open heart. It acknowledges the issues and limitations one might experience while training the Course and offers insights on how to navigate them.
